The Need for Speed is rescheduled for Feb 9.
The Need for Speed event is a fun event for swimmers in Mighty and Mini marlins. This is an opportunity for them to experience competition like setup, informally, at our pool, with events tailored to the level of swimmers. Swimmers will compete in short events based on what they had been working on in practices. Our older swimmers will volunteer to help them through the process and to record their results. These times are unofficial but help us teach the kids what competitive swimming is like and to see what needs to be worked on. There are no rankings or awards, simply an opportunity to look for self improvement and have fun!
Swimmers should be on deck at the Summit Centre at 415 PM and we will finish at 6 PM. Please declare your availability on our website. There is no additional charge for this event. We look forward to seeing your swimmers show their stuff!
